JMDA China provides European design, engineering and new product development expertise together with the benefit of on the ground support for manufacturing in China.
With our office in Shanghai we can assist clients wishing to enter the Chinese market with product and market compliance. In particular, and where applicable, the CCC (China Compliance Certificate). We support clients with all aspects of quality control and supply chain management to ensure they save time and money.
China is a large and diverse manufacturing base, where quality and price vary greatly. We are able to short circuit the sourcing process by identifying the most suitable, weeding out the poor suppliers and ensuring a good match of supplier and customer. We have considerable knowledge and experience supporting clients in China in the many aspects of product design, production processes, planning and management.
JMDA- DGS Project
Through their strategic Associate Partnership with Italian company DGS Project in Italy, JMDA can offer ‘CRS Dynamic Testing Services’ to its global client base.
Our Associate Partnership with DGS Project in Italy enhances our global design resource and engineering capability and provides a solid platform from which further product design opportunities can be established.
With access to a dedicated test rig, JMDA-DGS Project are the only European design consultancy with the ability to test CRS designs in house. Running multiple dynamic tests and checking designs meet the performance and ECE requirements, will improve project efficiency, increase confidence and reduce final validation.
Besides specialist experience in the full design and development for manufacture of Child Restraint Systems, DGS Project have extensive knowledge and experience of the design of comfortable, lightweight and safe children’s bicycle seats. Working together, JMDA-DGS Project will remain the leading consultancy for the design, development and compliance of Child Restraint Systems (C.R.S.)
