JMDA transformed a super-compact stroller frame into a global market hit and styling trendsetter for the whole industry
JMDA collaborated with a long-standing client in China who once again partnered with the UK team to refine and improve their initial mechanical engineering stroller frame prototype. The original design already achieved world-class folded dimensions—compact enough to qualify as stow-away cabin luggage for most airlines—but it has since been further enhanced to achieve an even narrower footprint when folded.
Furthermore, what began as a successful product launch—with several international brands purchasing and customizing their own versions—soon became a European sensation. This was solidified when nursery sector leader Kinderkraft signed an exclusivity contract with our Chinese client, ultimately leading to a Red Dot Design Award in 2024.
