Export Champions JMDA Attend DBT Australia and New Zealand Roadshow


JMDA Design recently attended the Birmingham stage of the Department for Business and Trade Australia and New Zealand Roadshow as one of its export champions. Sharing experience and knowledge of growing a successful business overseas, the global reach of JMDA Design in product design provides an invaluable framework for sharing important insights for other businesses.

Chris Raynor, JMDA’s Operations Director said: “It was a privilege to be able to speak at the event, on the panel with other export champions and chaired by H.M. Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, Martin Kent, to an audience of over 100 business owners and leaders from the Midlands. JMDA hopes to be able to inspire other SMEs to get into exporting more products and services.” 

The event was attended by the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Australia, Victoria Treadell CMG MVO, with the High Commissioners of Australia and of New Zealand, Stephen Smith and Philip Goff CNZM also present and who gave excellent speeches on the importance of trade between the U.K. and their respective countries.

The roadshow visited six UK cities between 6th-14th March to share practical insights and sector-specific opportunities to help businesses explore the possibilities of the UK-ANZ Free Trade Agreements and export trade in general with the two markets.
