This car seat is a multi-age car seat suitable for babies and toddlers. The Maxi-Cosi Emerald offers extra longevity as it can be used from birth until approx. 7 years, without compromising on safety and comfort. It can be positioned in a rear facing position until 4 years, which is best for head and neck protection. The Emerald also includes G-CELL technology to provide extra protection and an integrated new born inlay.

JMDA provided MyBaby with a full product development service, developing from sketch concepts through to a tooling ready design that could be certified to R44 G0+12. We worked closely as a supplier to MyBaby, and later Dorel Juvenile (Maxi Cosi brand owners) where we adapted the design to become one of their key launch products at Kind und Jugend 2019.
